Poppyseed Dressing
Making your own salad dressing is a simple yet powerful way to transform the most basic ingredients into something new and exciting.
1/2 cup avocado oil
1/4 cup homemade mayo
1/4 cup plain greek yogurt (or sub for more mayo)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon poppyseeds
Add all ingredients to jar and whisk until thoroughly mixed. Make sure to mix before each use.
Notes: Our preferred variation is using our homemade mayo recipe, plain greek yogurt, and honey. I like it best after stored in the fridge for a bit. To serve, I think it pairs wonderfully with a strawberry salad. You could sub avocado oil for olive oil.
