Printable Toddler Routine Chart
I found myself craving a bit more structure and the chance to step back while empowering my kids to learn the basics of self-care. I also wanted to gently explore what homeschooling might look like for our family. That’s what inspired me to create this simple routine chart for them to follow each day. The tasks are tailored to my kids’ ages and abilities, focusing on skills they can realistically master. I also included a few tasks that might not apply to us but could be a great fit for your family. Explore 108 thoughtfully curated items included in my versatile chart!
The chart is designed to be flexible, allowing you to arrange it in a way that works best for your home and your children. I laminated, cut, and added magnets to each task, then set them up on a chalkboard under each child’s name. As they complete a task, they move it into the "completed" category. You can customize it in so many ways: magnetize it to the fridge, use a sheet protector with a dry-erase marker, attach velcro circles to switch between categories, or even create a flip chart with folding tabs. The possibilities are endless!
This thoughtfully curated collection of activities is available for a small fee, and I hope it brings joy and structure to your home. I’d love to see how you’re incorporating it into your routine!
Below is a list of all the tools I used to assemble our chart! While they’re not essential, they definitely take it up a notch!
Most of these items I already had or plan to use for many future projects.
Laminator
Magnets
Paper Cutter
Arch Chalkboard
Wooden Magnetic Letters (mine are currently out of stock, but here’s a similar product I found for you)
I’m all about finding the perfect balance between functional and cute—and that’s exactly what I aimed to achieve with this chart! I love creating things that not only serve a purpose but also add a little joy and charm to everyday life. As a former FACS teacher for seven years before staying home with our three kids, designing, assembling, and implementing this chart really brought me back to my teaching roots. My son’s giggles and excitement when he saw his chart were priceless! It was such a sweet reminder that this could be the perfect gift—not just for your little ones, but for you too!
