Crunchy Protein Cereal Snack
This FTN x Victory Gym collaboration recipe is easily one of my all-time favorites. A crunchy protein snack that’s perfect for satisfying those cravings!
3 cups cereal
1 cup protein powder
2 tablespoons maple syrup
5-6 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted
Add cereal, protein powder, syrup, and milk to a bowl and mix. Depending on ingredients chosen, they may absorb liquids differently—add a splash more milk if the protein powder is still dry. There should not be a pool of liquid at the bottom. It’s ok if there are clumps.
Tightly pack cereal mixture to a parchment paper lined sheet pan and spread evenly. Freeze for 1-2 hours until firm.
Drizzle melted chocolate over cereal and freeze again for another 5-10 minutes. Enjoy!
Notes: Our preferred cereal for this recipe is cinnamon Lovebird, and our preferred protein powder is vanilla Promix (because it’s sweetened with coconut sugar), but any flavor or brand will work. Other cereals we use and love are Seven Sundays (pumpkin, cinnamon, cocoa) and Purely Elizabeth (chocolate almond, vanilla blueberry, honey PB, cinnamon raisin). We like to use Hu or Bake Believe dark chocolate and raw milk.Try mixing protein powder, maple syrup, and milk separately before adding to the cereal if you don’t care for the clumps.
