Maple Grilled Pork Chops

This simple marinade and sauce sauce is a harmonious balance of sweet and salty flavors and what makes this recipe a recurrent favorite.

  • 4 pork chops

  • ½ cup maple syrup or honey

  • ¼ cup brown mustard

  • ¼ cup tamari or coconut aminos

  1. Add all ingredients to a bag, bowl, or container and marinate pork chops for 1-24 hours in the refrigerator.

  2. Heat grill to 375°F. Place pork chops on the grill and cook for 5 minutes. Flip and continue cooking for another 5-8 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

  3. Let the pork chops rest on a plate for 10 minutes before serving. Optional: make the marinade mixture again to drizzle on top of cooked pork chops before serving.

Notes: You can cook on a cast iron skillet on medium-high heat. Flip once after a golden crust is developed until the internal temperature reaches 145°F. We like to garnish with thyme and serve with one of our tasty sides like the lemon garlic beans or maple glazed Brussels from our cookbook.
